Andy Lee Named to 2026 NJCAA Softball Hall of Fame Class
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The NJCAA Softball Coaches Association announced its 2026 Hall of Fame class Monday evening, with Northwest Florida State head coach Andy Lee among four inductees selected for this year's class.
Fresh off securing his 1,000th career victory, Lee adds yet another milestone to an already legendary coaching career. With seven NJCAA National Championships to his name and more than two decades spent in junior college softball, Lee has built one of the most accomplished résumés in the sport's history.
Lee began his head coaching career in 2006 at Hinds College, where he totaled 93 wins across three seasons. In 2009, he took over at LSU Eunice and quickly established himself as one of the premier coaches in NJCAA softball. During his 11 seasons with the Bengals, Lee compiled 581 victories and captured six NJCAA Division II National Championships, building LSU Eunice into a perennial national powerhouse.
Since arriving at Northwest Florida State in 2020, Lee has continued his winning tradition while elevating the Raiders into national prominence. Under his leadership, Northwest Florida has posted four consecutive 50-win seasons, claimed three straight Panhandle Conference Championships, reached the program's first national championship game in 2023, and made a Final Four appearance in 2024.
The crowning achievement of Lee's Raider tenure came in 2025, when he guided Northwest Florida to its first-ever NJCAA National Championship—his seventh overall—while setting a program record with a 61-4 finish.
Across his career, Lee has helped more than 70 players move on to four-year universities and earn All-Region selections, while 53 has been named NJCAA All-Americans.
Now, with Hall of Fame recognition added to his résumé, Lee further cements his legacy as one of the greatest coaches in NJCAA softball history.
