Ross Named Region 8 Pitcher of the Week

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida State right-hander Dylan Ross has been named Region VIII Pitcher of the Week, the association announced on Tuesday.

Ross struck out 15 batters over 7.2 innings of work in the Raiders 7-1 win over Tallahassee last week. The Statesboro, Ga., native allowed one run on seven hits with no walks in earning his sixth win of the season.

On the season, Ross is 6-1 with a 3.62 ERA, 71 strikeouts in 54.2 innings on the mound.
