GAME 1 RECAP:

Northwest Florida State College easily dispatched Tallahassee Community College 10-2 on Thursday

Tallahassee Community College got things started in the first inning when S Malik singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Northwest Florida State College tied things up at one. Emily Sinclair drew a walk, scoring one run.

Northwest Florida State College pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Mallory Druhan doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run and Brittani Crawford singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Northwest Florida State College tallied four runs in the fifth inning. Northwest Florida State College 's offense in the inning came from walks by Nai'a Sylvia and Marcie Bewley, a single by Druhan, and a home run by Crawford.

GAME 2 RECAP:

It came down to the wire on Thursday, with Northwest Florida State College taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over Tallahassee Community College. Northwest Florida State College trailed 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Summer Frye singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

Tallahassee Community College scored three runs in the third inning, but Northwest Florida State College still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive firepower by Tallahassee Community College was led by O Russell and D Cassady, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Northwest Florida State College got things started in the first inning. Northwest Florida State College scored one run when Emily Sinclair singled.

Tallahassee Community College knotted the game up at three in the top of the third inning. Cassady drove in two when she tripled.
