NWF Men’s Hoops Set for Pensacola Thanksgiving Classic

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Northwest Florida men's basketball will play three games in three days as the team takes part in the Pensacola Thanksgiving Classic Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Raiders (7-1) defeated East Mississippi and upended No. 3 Indian Hills last week in the NWF Classic. Northwest Florida has now won three straight games heading in this week's action.

Shakwon Barrett continues to produce in many different ways. The freshman is averaging 11.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game and is shooting 40.9 percent from the field. Marseilles Caston had a breakout game against Indian Hills scoring 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting.

NWF will take on Trinity Valley Monday at 6 p.m., Odessa Tuesday at 4 p.m., and Lamar State – Port Arthur Wednesday at 2 p.m.
