Raiders take down Indians 7-1

Jake Randa would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Saturday, driving in six on three hits to lead Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity past Chipola 7-1 on Saturday. Randa drove in runs on a home run in the sixth, a home run in the seventh, and a home run in the ninth.

Miguel Cienfuegos toed the rubber for Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity. He surrendered one run on three hits over nine innings, striking out nine.

Jose Visaez got the start for Chipola. He allowed three hits and three runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three. Jack Dellinger, Chase Forester, and Jared Howell each contributed in relief for Chipola.

Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity totaled eight hits. Randa and Christian Camacho each racked up multiple hits for Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity. Randa led Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity with three hits in five at bats.

Chipola was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Alex Arauz made the most plays with 11.
