Tallahassee took an early lead in the second inning. Jayson Sowden drove in one when he singled.

Tallahassee took the lead for good with five runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Trey Polewski singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs, Mason Miller singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, and Tanner Thomas singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Justin Sorokowski led things off on the hill for Tallahassee. He allowed five hits and two runs over five and a third innings, striking out six.

Thomas Farr was on the mound for Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing ten hits and six runs. Miguel Cienfuegos and Taylor Gibson entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.

Tallahassee racked up 13 hits on the day. Tucker Rayburn, Sowden, Logan Lacey, and Miller each managed multiple hits for Tallahassee. Rayburn went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Tallahassee in hits. Tallahassee was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Kyle Benson had the most chances in the field with eight.
