NWF claims victory over Wabash Valley, 8-2

Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity won big over Wabash Valley College 8-2 on Saturday.

Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity fired up the offense in the second inning, when Kyle Fitzgerald singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Grant Stewart got the start for Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity. He allowed five hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out eight.

Austin Moralis led things off on the hill for Wabash Valley College. He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing five hits and four runs while walking one. Paul Perez, Nick King, Jon Beymer, and Brian Chandler each entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings, one inning, one inning, and one inning respectively.

Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity tallied 11 hits. Fitzgerald, Kaden Polcovich, Blake Beagle, and Thomas Broyles each collected multiple hits for Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity. Broyles, Beagle, Polcovich, and Fitzgerald each collected two hits to lead Northwest Florida State College Raiders Varsity.

Wabash Valley College was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ronnie Allen Jr. made the most plays with seven.
