NICEVILLE, Fla. – Thirty-four Northwest Florida State student-athletes were named to the Florida College System Activates Association All-Academic team, the association announced this week.
This year, 955 students participating in FCSAA programs were recognized for having achieved a minimum 3.30 GPA during the 2018-19 academic year. Representing Northwest Florida State were 13 softball players, 11 baseball players, six women's basketball players and four men's basketball players.
"We are very proud of our student-athletes," Athletic Director Ramsey Ross said. "Their accomplishments both on and off the court are a reflection of the character, hard work and dedication of not only the student-athletes but of the college at its staff."
Northwest Florida State graduated all 39 second-season participants last season and all 39 matriculated to four-year colleges.
