On the heels of an Elite 8 finish in last year's NJCAA national tournament, Head Coach Steve DeMeo has announced the release of the 2018-19 schedule.
This year's schedule features five teams who were nationally ranked in the top 5 last season. "My staff has put together the most competitive and toughest schedule in my tenure at NWF," says DeMeo. "We will be challenged every night we step on the floor."
The Raiders' non-conference schedule includes a trip to Iowa, where they will take on Indian Hills, who went undefeated during last year's regular season. Another non-conference highlight will come in the Florida Shootout taking place December 8-9th. They will take on both Eastern Florida and Florida Southwestern, who each made appearances in last year's national tournament.
After last year's squad finished 13-0 at Raider Arena in the 2017-18 season, this year's crew looks to continue the success they had at home last year.

The Northwest Florida women's basketball team is scheduled to open up the 2018-19 season on Saturday, November 3rd, at Raider Arena against Daytona State.
Head Coach Bart Walker announced the release of this year's schedule, which includes a non-conference slate featuring four teams that were ranked in last year's top 25. "Our schedule has us playing 5 different regions throughout the country, ranging from Indiana to Texas," says Walker. Facing some of the best competition from around the nation will prepare the Lady Raiders for a tough conference season, which includes match-ups against powerhouse Gulf Coast and defending national champions, Tallahassee.
The Lady Raiders return five from last year's Elite 8 squad, including Georgia Gayle who averaged 12.4 points per game in her freshman season.
